The women in Agriculture seminar hosted by TV presenter Kamohelo Bombe will take place at the Sierra Hotel in Randburg, Joburg, on May 15. The seminar will discuss various topics including opportunities for women in farming, funding, agro-processing, poultry, crops, livestock and access to market.
The MC for the day will be actress Mogau Motlhatswi, famously known for her role as Mapitsi Magongwa on the SABC 1 drama Skeem Saam.
Speakers for the day include Mbali Nwoko of Green Terrace, pig farmer Nomathemba Langa, Phumzile Chifunyise of The Crop Box, Agripreneur Gugulethu Mahlangu and Boitumelo Phalwane, who is involved in agro-processing.
The event will start at 11am.
